What is pressure and how does it apply to your life?

Pressure is defined by Websters New World Dictionary (2018), as the continuous physical force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it; the use of persuasion, influence, or intimidation to make someone do something (Agnes 2018).

Pressure is that thing you feel when you are under stress or have anxiety! You feel it because it is making you uncomfortable. You feel it because it is challenging you!

Do you understand how pressure applies to your life yet?

In life, we face daily pressure. We face the pressure of negative energy, of daily chaos, and drama. We face pressure from work, school, kids, jobs, etc..

That pressure can be handled with a stank attitude or with grace and humbleness. Meaning you can allow that pressure to bring stress and drama into your life, or you can handle the pressure of life with grace and humbleness, and allow it to shape you! It is your choice!

Of course, it will be hard, but if you understand that the pressure is just shaping you, into what you are destined to become. You can understand that you are a perfect imperfection, a jewel in the process of being made. You can handle a little pressure!

One of the most beautiful jewels in the world, diamonds, are created under pressure! So, if a diamond is one of the most valued jewels to be created and it can handle pressure,  then you can handle a little pressure, right?

The pressure is shaping you into the person you are destined to become. The way you allow it to shape you depends on YOU!

I encourage you to handle the pressure of life, with grace and humbleness. Handle the pressure of relationships, friendships, and allow them to form you into the person you are destined to become!

Remember not only were you born for a purpose but you are still here for a purpose as well! Deal with the pressure of life and allow it to shape you, find your purpose and tap into the greatness of that purpose!

“Peer pressure and social norms are powerful influences on behavior, and they are classic excuses”

Andrew Lansley

“Courage is grace under pressure”
