What is growth and how does it apply to your life?
Growth is defined by, Websters New World Dictionary (2018), as the process of increasing in physical size; something that has grown or is growing (Agnes 2018).
Growth and how it applies to your life:
You can not deny that we as humans are destined to grow. Our bodies grow from the time of conception. Our minds grow, we begin to learn, to understand, and to communicate. But where do we stop growing at? Our bodies tap out at growth at some point, as far as height goes. But does it really? I mean some of us get fat, some us get skinny, some of us shrink! So you have to ask yourself do we really stop growing? What about our mind? Our feelings? Our understanding? What about spiritually? Do we tap out at growing in any of these areas?
The answer is NO! There is always room for improvement, that is growth. That is how it applies to you and your life. We as people always have room to grow. We should never be so comfortable with the way life is that we tap out at wanting to grow into something better.
I encourage you to stop being comfortable and change your approach! I encourage you to want to grow, not only for the betterment of you but for the improvement of what you produce. You have a purpose! You were born for a reason! Find out what it is that you are destined to grow into. Grow into your greatness!
Ask yourself are you comfortable where you’re at in life? Do you want something better? Do you want to change things that have been going wrong? Have you ever asked yourself why things always happen to you? Have you ever thought about the common denominator in all the things that happen in your life? The common denominator is YOU! You are the reason things are happening to you! When you can understand that, you will begin to grow!
I challenge you to grow! I challenge you to change your approach towards life. I challenge you to take responsibility for you. I challenge you to understand you. I challenge you to self-reflect. I challenge you to make a goal. I challenge you to find your passion. I challenge you to find your purpose. As you accept these challenges you will begin to grow.
“Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle:
“Those who improve with age embrace the power of personal growth and personal achievement and begin to replace youth with wisdom, innocence with understanding, and lack of purpose with self-actualization”
Agnes, M. Webster’s new world dictionary.
